We have a variety of projects that we are looking forward to carry out over the next few months as well as travelling to Kenya. Thank you for donating!
Projects currently planned include:
Health Care
Provision of medical camp in Partnership with the with the People's Church and Kerugoya District Hospital. We were able to treat over 840 people at our last medical camps in Winter 2015. We are planning our next medical camps for November next year.
We tested
several children who could not read from the
blackboard last autumn and provided medical
support .
.
\We are planning to include a visit to a local school probably late January 2016 to examine and dispense spectacles as necessary.
We have provided dressings and surgical equipment Kerugoya District Hospital for their use.
Further supplies of dressings and other medical supplies are
planned.
We took new baby clothes donated by The Cherish Foundation to the New Born Ward and to 2 local clinics in November 2015. Further donations are being planned.
Business Start Ups
Business Start Up Fund: We are creating a Business Start Up Fund this year to help people start their business. We supported a number of businesses last autumn through donations and now looking to create the fund using learnings of previous support.
Provision of an Electric Mixer and Soap Moulds to a Blind Group to help with their soap production business. Further support with the business is being planned.
Basic Needs

We are looking to continue to provide fertilizer and seeds for planting food where farms are productive.
We are looking to invest into the school at Peoples Church. They
have already held a first year with 12 pupils and now want to start
a second year.
